Restoration… complete.

We've had the privilege of working in the most stunning Victorian property, which the owners are beautifully restoring, helping them with their latest project, the dining room.

Despite their best efforts and their desire to stay true to the properties wonderful heritage, they'd just about given up on trying to peel back the decades of paint layers on the cornice and ceiling rose, as it was proving so difficult and time consuming.

Thankfully, Martin was able to find an alternative product that's working wonders to reveal the intricate detail beneath. Though its extended the workload, every minute spent and every aching muscle has been worth it and I think we're just about as pleased as our clients are with the amazing results!

After this and stripping the woodchip paper from the ceiling, we were then able to seal the bare plaster on the ceiling rose and cornice, re-paper the ceiling with a stunning Anaglypta wallpaper, spray all of the woodwork that had yellowed due to previous oil-based treatments, spray the walls, ceiling and ceiling rose and cornice and finally repair the damage to the previously chemically stripped period interior door before also spraying.

Follow our journey.
