First Rooms.

Our baby boy’s first room, from Kirsty's original design, was such a pleasure to do!

We sprayed the ceilings in their lovely deep blue shade, then sprayed all of the the woodwork and radiator in Farrow & Ball’s Calluna to tie in with the fabric on the chair that we’d purchased second hand months before (perfect for those night-time feeds!).

Kirsty (with the help of Abi and a large spirit level for all those straight lines) then got creative, drawing her design onto the walls and Abi and Martin hand painted each individual colour block in her chosen colours to create a beautiful landscape mural.

Meanwhile the QT190 spry system was used again to spray the cot, drawers and cupboard doors, to tie everything in nicely, with Futura Aqua 20 which was specifically chosen for its furniture and toy safe rating.

Kirsty then hand painted the moon and stars and added a handmade mobile and bear toy basket.

To finish the look, we added soft (child friendly) cloud handles to the drawers and cupboard doors, along with cloud curtains, a night sky lightshade and mountains rug bringing everything together!

It was such a privilege to be asked to decorate another nursery for a lovely couple soon to become parents for the first time.

Here we used Johnstone’s Trade Matt emulsion, tinted to their choice of Craig & Rose "Lido Blue", a beautiful deep blue. The ceiling and woodwork were then finished in a brilliant white for a stunning crisp contrast.
